In partnership with the Nashville Public Library, The Tennessean, and Nashville Public Radio/WPLN 90.3 FM, the StoryCorps StoryBooth will be in Nashville, Tennessee September 2007-September 2008.

- Log in to our reservation system. First-time visitors can create a free account. We will ask for your email address, which is used only to send a reminder when you make a reservation. We will also ask for a credit card number to reserve your appointment. We will not charge your card unless you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice. Cancellation policy is explained in detail below. To make an appointment without an email address and credit card, please call 800-850-4406.
- Find a day and time that works for you and your interview partner.
Please remember, all participants must be 10 years or older. If there
are no times available, please keep checking back in case of
cancellations. You will only have to register the first time, so to
check back you simply sign in and look for open reservations.
- Pledge a donation. StoryCorps is a free public service, but we do ask for donations to help cover our costs and keep StoryCorps accessible to all. We suggest $10, but you can contribute as much or as little as you wish. Donations are processed at the StoryBooth after your interview.

Directions and Parking
Nashville Public Library, 615 Church Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. The StoryBooth is located in the Nashville Banner Room on the second floor.
Free Parking is offered for the first hour at the Nashville Public Library Garage. Entrances to the garage are on Sixth and Seventh avenues between Church and Commerce streets in downtown.
Main Library Parking Rates
- First hour of parking: free
- 1–1.5 hours: 75 cents
- 1.5–2 hours: $1.50
- 2–2.5 hours: $2.50
- 2.5–3 hours: $3.50
- 3–3.5 hours: $4.50
- More than 3.5 hours: $6 (the daily maximum for those who park before 5:00 PM on weekdays)
The evening maximum parking rate (after 5:00 PM) and weekend maximum parking rate is $4.
In order to receive parking validation for free and reduced-rate parking, bring your parking ticket to the security desk in the Main Library’s entry hall.
Public Transportation
The library is four blocks from the downtown bus shelter. Take Deaderick towards Legislative Plaza and turn left on Sixth Ave. The library is two blocks down on Church Street.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The StoryCorps booth is fully wheelchair accessible. Participants should enter the library using the door on Level 4 in the parking garage (handicapped parking available) or the Church Street entrance.
Cancellation policy
You can cancel your appointment using the online reservation system, or by calling 800-850-4406. To cancel on the same day of your interview, you must call 646-723-7027. Due to the high volume of calls we are unable to call back individuals about cancellations.
There is no charge for cancellation unless you cancel with less than 24 hours advance notice. Because we are unable to fill that time slot on such short notice, we will charge $25 to the credit card used to make your reservation.
