I brought my father, Dick Spady, to the StoryCorp at the Seattle Center on Monday, September 26, 2005. We both had a great time and talked about my fathers time in World War 2, the Korean War, his creation of the Seattle-favorite fast-food restaurant Dick’s Drive-In, and his creation of the Forum Foundation and subsequent work in Dialogue Research and Symbolic Dialogue
