In Durham, North Carolina, the StoryCorps Mobile Booth pulls into what was once the home of the tobacco industry in the United States. The American Tobbaco Historic District is comprised of warehouses and buildings once owned by the American Tobacco Co, amongst the most successful companies in the industry. It is located next to the Durham Bulls minor league baseball stadium (Ahem…Kevin Costner, Suasan Surandon and Tim Robins in "Bull Durham"…yeah, that one).
