About Lena
R. Lena Richardson just returned to her native Brooklyn from Toronto, where she finished her Masters degree in adult education and community development. Two of her favorite projects in Toronto were doing oral history interviews with children of leftist activists and creating a performance piece called "Making Home, Keeping Time" about her relationship with her ill father. Before grad school, she spent six years in Seattle, where she did lots of arts-based activism and frolicked in the Pacific Ocean.
