About Kayvon

Kayvon was a member of the inaugural Facilitator class in October, 2003. Afterward, he worked in a variety of capacities at StoryCorps. In 2004, he took on the responsibilities of StoryCorps‘ first Facilities & Archive Manager, and was involved with the design, development, and launch of the first two Mobile StoryBooths and the Lower Manhattan StoryBooth. As Archive Manager, he established the processes and protocols for creating the StoryCorps Archive and transferring it to the Library of Congress. In 2006, he developed and rolled-out the StoryCorps StoryBooth and Door-to-Door services. Kayvon is a graduate of the University of Florida where he studied anthropology with a focus on ethnomusicology.
