About Brianna
Brianna Hyneman was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She studied anthropology and Black women’s literature at Sarah Lawrence College. She is the co-founder of Hollablk Productions and has produced independent film and national film tours for over fourteen years. She has documented the rise of hip-hop culture in Southern Africa and completed research on art and politics in Nicaragua and East Africa.
