Production Intern

The Production Intern will work closely with the StoryCorps production staff to identify stories for national broadcast, as well as perform administrative tasks. This internship is an opportunity to hone your storytelling and audio-editing skills and to contribute to a groundbreaking and important project.
 
Responsibilities include listening to tape from around the country, pulling interview highlights using ProTools, and transcribing them. You will also provide general support to the StoryCorps production team, including maintaining a backup system for audio storage, as well as other discreet projects.
 
We’re looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, reliable, passionate about telling people’s stories, and who believes strongly in the StoryCorps mission. Familiarity with digital audio editing systems is preferred–maybe highly recommended.
